Bloom — Experience Collective Studios

Bloom. Sand Arts Festival. Tybee Island, GA

Bloom is inspired by colorful sea anemones and the flow that moves them. Mimicking bursts or blooms the anemones are created from a geodesic structure supporting a bursting outer layer of colorful foam tentacles.

One our favorite feelings is starting an install at 4AM and finishing by the time most people are waking up, revealing the transformation that took place before sunrise ✨

Inspired by travel and fresh perspectives, this window showcases a hand-crafted 1920’s wooden yacht complete with signal flags, a brass bell and interior cabin. What a fun build!

We’re building a boat! What a fun process this is, starting out with building the “bones” and then covering it with “skin”. Next comes paint, trim, rigging and all the little details ✨⚓️ *dog for scale.
