Experience Collective was selected to design and fabricate a custom entrance vestibule for Sargent, the new restaurant from the team behind Lucian Books & Wine. Named for American painter John Singer Sargent, the restaurant draws inspiration from his mastery of technique, material, and craftsmanship: qualities that also guided the design and construction of the vestibule.
Standing 16 feet tall and weighing approximately 3,600 pounds, the hand fabricated steel structure creates a dramatic architectural threshold while accommodating the functional needs of the restaurant entrance. The vestibule is wrapped in two distinct styles of decorative metal mesh, each carefully formed to follow the precise radiused curves of the structural frame.
The entire structure was powdercoated in layered metallic finishes and completed with stained cypress cap rails along the top and bottom. Each wood component was shaped to mirror the curves of the steel and mesh, creating a cohesive transition between materials.
Integrated LED lighting is concealed within custom channels designed and fabricated directly into the structure, illuminating the vestibule from within and highlighting its texture, depth, and craftsmanship after dark.
Designed, engineered, and built by hand in our Atlanta studio, the finished vestibule brings together steel, decorative mesh, wood, and light to create a distinctive entrance for Sargent’s new home along the BeltLine.
Whirlpool, a 22 foot steel powder-coated shade structure, draws inspiration from cyclical patterns and swirling water. Comprised of 22 intersecting triangles, each with a unique stripe pattern, it spirals inward to a single central point. Installed on a rooftop deck, it provides shade while adding architectural interest and an artful focal point to the space.
For Evergreen’s butcher and baker shop in Kirkwood, we designed, fabricated, and installed custom metal fixtures—including bread display shelves, a specialized railing system for fresh meats, and a handrail for their stairs—bringing function and craftsmanship to every detail.
For Accent Decor’s headquarters, we designed and fabricated a series of custom metal and wooden fixtures that bring art to life. A standout feature is the wall-mounted propagation station—crafted from white ash, powder-coated metal, and over 200 test tubes filled with sprigs of fresh florals and greenery, ever-changing with the seasons. In the lobby, custom shelving with a sleek powder-coated metal groove proudly displays design books and promotional materials, merging form, function, and creativity.

This 22-foot custom accessibility ramp was designed with both safety and longevity in mind. Built from perforated aluminum panels, the ramp offers durability, rust resistance, effective drainage, and a built-in anti-slip surface—ensuring dependable performance year-round.
To further enhance stability and comfort, we integrated a custom handrail that provides support along the length of the ramp. The ramp is a functional solution crafted to inspire confidence and independence.
